How We Work

Every Keyfive engagement follows a disciplined, milestone-driven process governed by signed agreements before work begins:

Step 1 — Scoping & Agreement

We work with your team to define requirements and produce a signed Statement of Work (SOW) and NDA before any development begins. Scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing are defined upfront.

Step 2 — Architecture & Design

Our engineers design an integration architecture specific to your existing systems, assets, and operational environment. No rip-and-replace required.

Step 3 — Build & Validate

We build, test, and validate completed software against the acceptance criteria in your SOW. We do not deliver partial builds — only production-ready, installable software.

Step 4 — Delivery & Handoff

Software is delivered with technical documentation tailored to your environment, along with a formal handoff and acceptance process. Acceptance is governed by the criteria in the SOW.

Step 5 — Ongoing Support

Post-delivery support is defined per engagement. Your dedicated point of contact remains reachable for questions, issues, and future development needs.

Governing Framework

All Keyfive engagements are governed by a set of signed documents. In the event of conflict, the order of precedence is:

•        Individual Contract or SOW — project-specific terms, scope, deliverables, and pricing.

•        Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) — confidentiality obligations for both parties.

•        Terms of Service — baseline rights and responsibilities (keyfive.com/terms).

Governing documents are customer- and project-specific. Obligations defined in one engagement do not generalize to others.

What support is available after delivery?

Post-delivery support is defined in your SOW. At minimum, every client has a named point of contact reachable by email for questions, issues, or follow-on development requests. Extended support arrangements and maintenance contracts are available per engagement.
