Job Description
We’re looking for a Front-End UI/UX Developer who lives at the intersection of clean design and clean code and who’s comfortable working in a .NET environment. Able to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (and/or TypeScript) to transform requirements and wireframes into polished, intuitive interfaces and help ensure our applications not only work flawlessly but feel great to use.
This role focuses on front-end development and UI/UX execution. The ideal contractor should be skilled in responsive design, modern interface development, and user-centered design principles. We’re looking for someone who collaborates well with teams, can translate concepts into polished interfaces, and delivers high-quality front-end solutions with strong attention to detail and usability.

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to turn ideas and requirements into intuitive user experiences.
Work within a .NET ecosystem (ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core) to build and integrate front-end components with server-side logic and APIs.
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive designs to validate concepts and flows before implementation.
Implement and maintain design systems, reusable UI components, and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Use UX best practices, user feedback, and analytics to refine and improve existing user interfaces.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help raise the bar on code quality and front-end standards.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer, UI Engineer, or similar role.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (or SCSS/SASS), and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience working with ASP.NET MVC and/or ASP.NET Core (Razor views, partials, layouts, and component integration.
Some experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, including layout, typography, color, interaction patterns, and information hierarchy.
Experience with version control (Git) and common development workflows (branches, pull requests, code reviews).
Passionate about good design and good code; whether that’s debating button states, CSS architecture, or the correct name for a component.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to build inclusive interfaces
Experience with front-end build tools such as Gulp for bundling, minification, and asset pipelines
